“The poems began with paying attention to ordinary spaces and objects,” Bhattacharjee explains. “Over time, I became interested in how meaning can emerge from stillness and observation rather than explanation. Bhattacharjee’s creative perspective is shaped by his engagement with several artistic disciplines. Alongside writing, he works with sound as a DJ and electronic music producer and with visual framing as an amateur photographer. His experiences as a traveller and communications professional also influence his approach, bringing together rhythm, silence, clarity, and thoughtful observation within his work.
